Lyres

Lyres (manchmal auch als 'The Lyres' geführt) waren/sind eine Band aus dem Bostoner Umfeld. Sie spielen 'alternativen Rock/Pop' und der Kopf der Band ist Jeff 'Monoman' Conolly. Sie wurden 1979 gegründet, nachdem sich die Band 'DMZ' trennte. Ihre populärsten Songs sind 'what a girl can't do' und 'help you ann'.
Verschiendenste Musiker gehörten über die Jahre zum Line-Up, darunter ehem. DMZ-Mitglieder, Miriam Linna von den 'Cramps', Stiv Bators von Dead Boys und Lords of the New Church...
